Vegan food brand VFC produced a video showcasing undercover footage of the shocking abuse that chickens are subjected to in Lincolnshire, England. The factory farm produces birds for one of the largest chicken companies, Moy Park, which supplies chicken to KFC, as well as to supermarkets and other retailers. The shocking exposé follows the release of a KFC promotional video, which seeks to reassure the public of its “high welfare” standards.

VFC reached out to PBN for extra support disseminating the video. We interviewed the co-founder of VFC about the exposé and shared the footage on PBN’s facebook. We were very well positioned to help distribute this content across our network due to the alignment of both organizations wishing to create awareness about the horrors of factory farming. So it was no surprise that the results were stunning. After the video won a film award, we also wrote about the news on our website.
